In the 11th match minute, Drunken Sea Monkeys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peep Normann to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Luciano Jerano notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Drunken Sea Monkeys's Joonas Järve. Joonas Järve was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Jerano in the 19th minute of play forced Drunken Sea Monkeys's goalkeeper Joonas Järve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luciano Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Li Sha Yuan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joonas Järve. Drunken Sea Monkeys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Li Sha Yuan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Defensores del Albinegro's Tobias Montae got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Defensores del Albinegro fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Defensores del Albinegro's Luciano Jerano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Joonas Järve didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saturnino Diagur went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. 42 minutes into the match, Drunken Sea Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Diagur came free, but Joonas Järve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Defensores del Albinegro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. After the first half Defensores del Albinegro were leading 0-8. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viljar Niidumaa to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Drunken Sea Monkeys's goalkeeper Joonas Järve, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Peep Normann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Defensores del Albinegro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Diagur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Ken Tänav hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Luciano Jerano came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Defensores del Albinegro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Jerano couldn't finish the play. Luciano Jerano struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Joonas Järve didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensores del Albinegro. Luciano Jerano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luciano Jerano in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joonas Järve saved Drunken Sea Monkeys from getting behind.
