Ilie Oprea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Jian Chang, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Zorros del Desierto were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Gelp 22's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Darío Verón took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Darío Verón got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ilie Oprea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Silvano Patrido charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvano Patrido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvano Patrido hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ilie Oprea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Lepe in the 20th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Gelp 22's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Lepe came free, but Ilie Oprea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Jonathan Lepe notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Gelp 22's Ilie Oprea. Ilie Oprea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Lepe struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Ilie Oprea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zorros del Desierto. The Gelp 22 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zorros del Desierto were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natalio Froylan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ilie Oprea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Concetto Mare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ilie Oprea having to interfere.
