The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabricio Remicio during the 4th minute. Ilie Oprea came out of the goal and Viljar Niidumaa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Nigula hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Drunken Sea Monkeys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Natalio Froylan scored to the left of an out of position Joonas Järve, making the score, 1-0. After 17 minutes, Tambet Laanemaa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drunken Sea Monkeys and the Gelp 22 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 17th match minute, Drunken Sea Monkeys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tambet Laanemaa to maneuver through the defense. Drunken Sea Monkeys's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Natalio Froylan scored to the left of an out of position Joonas Järve, making the score, 3-0. Illimar Kullamaa kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Drunken Sea Monkeys's Joonas Järve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Basualdo in the 43rd minute of play. Natalio Froylan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Joonas Järve made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Silvestre Monte had to leave the field with a concussion. After 47 minutes, Gert Naer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Drunken Sea Monkeys and the Gelp 22 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 48 played minutes Drunken Sea Monkeys got a freekick which was hit by Gert Naer.

The wind increased when Viljar Niidumaa made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gelp 22 booed when Drunken Sea Monkeys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tambet Laanemaa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Gert Naer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viljar Niidumaa in the 69th minute of play forced Gelp 22's goalkeeper Ilie Oprea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drunken Sea Monkeys's Sven Reiljan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ilie Oprea in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viljar Niidumaa in the 81st minute of play forced Gelp 22's goalkeeper Ilie Oprea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Drunken Sea Monkeys's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmacio Basualdo came free, but Joonas Järve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drunken Sea Monkeys's Joonas Järve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Basualdo in the 85th minute of play. Natalio Froylan might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joonas Järve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natalio Froylan ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee ended the match the Gelp 22 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
