Thanks to some nice moves Aivar Kalde could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Adrianus Tambunan however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, FC Kopli's Henri Meri got a free kick in the 44th minute. Joakim Vennerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adjat Inzaghi in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adjat Inzaghi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Adjat Inzaghi sped through FC Kopli's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joakim Vennerström. Joakim Vennerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adjat Inzaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adjat Inzaghi in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Kopli's goalkeeper Joakim Vennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute, Putra Rewulu's Adjat Inzaghi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joakim Vennerström. Onur Ali Tulun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Vennerström having to interfere. Putra Rewulu's Adjat Inzaghi got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adjat Inzaghi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Joakim Vennerström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Putra Rewulu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Putra Rewulu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
