Cylon's 龙枫博 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Cylon from getting a goal against them. In the 8th minute 龙钢超 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Napierkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kryspin Napierkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 龙钢超, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Laércio Loureiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for 龙枫博 to make any attempt to save it. If Gerson Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cylon's 龙枫博 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Loureiro in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Cylon's 龙枫博 got control of the ball when Gerson Coelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute Inter de São Paulo were awarded a corner. Marquinhos Botelho went to the cornerflag to take it. Predrag Djordjević made a great header on Inter de São Paulo's corner, it was just that Cylon's 龙枫博 managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 30thth minute of the game Laércio Loureiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cylon's 龙枫博 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Gerson Coelho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 龙枫博. Gerson Coelho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 龙枫博 came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de São Paulo's Laércio Loureiro. But to his dismay, Laércio Loureiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Gerson Coelho in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of 龙枫博, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laércio Loureiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Laércio Loureiro made a precise shot to the right of 龙枫博. Cylon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Laércio Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter de São Paulo's supporters rose to their feet, but Laércio Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 龙枫博 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 龙枫博 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Loureiro in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Cylon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 莫义林 to maneuver through the defense. Cylon's 许克沙 was substituted for 尹桑文. Cylon made a substitution. 叶建超 replaced 傅志骏. 莫义林 kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When 莫义林 fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cylon's protests and gave 莫义林 a yellow card for diving instead. Inter de São Paulo made a substitution. Philipp Lahm replaced 杜寒镇. In the 66th minute, 莫义林 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 67 minutes, Laércio Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter de São Paulo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laércio Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 龙钢超 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerson Coelho in the 72nd minute of play forced Cylon's goalkeeper 龙枫博 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerson Coelho might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 龙枫博. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerson Coelho ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerson Coelho took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 龙枫博. 龙枫博 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Cylon's 龙钢超 got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Inter de São Paulo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
