The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pihl United's Gottfrid Haström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Edorta in the 7th minute of play. Premier FC's Ermegildo Edorta got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Waselewicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Dorival Freire when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Pihl United fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Pihl United's Daniel Waselewicz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 19 minutes of play, Premier FC's Erlin Haaland made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gottfrid Haström was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ermegildo Edorta in the 24th minute of play forced Pihl United's goalkeeper Gottfrid Haström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25thth minute of the game Tommy Sundberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Premier FC's Dorival Freire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute, Erlin Haaland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Erlin Haaland notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Pihl United's Gottfrid Haström. Gottfrid Haström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlin Haaland in the 35th minute of play forced Pihl United's goalkeeper Gottfrid Haström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Erlin Haaland put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Gottfrid Haström. In the 41st minute, Pihl United's Tommy Sundberg ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dorival Freire. Dorival Freire yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. In the 47th minute Duda Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gottfrid Haström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

52 minutes into the match, Pihl United's goalkeeper Gottfrid Haström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duda Velloso. After 55 played minutes Premier FC got a freekick which was hit by Marco Alaba. Premier FC's Dorival Freire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Ferreira in the 56th minute of play. Gottfrid Haström made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Erlin Haaland sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute Tommy Sundberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorival Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pihl United made a substitution. Anderson Leal replaced Sergio-Roberto Ramos. Tommy Sundberg hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Ermegildo Edorta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gottfrid Haström having to make a save. 73 minutes into the match, Pihl United's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Edorta came free, but Gottfrid Haström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Duda Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gottfrid Haström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Edorta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gottfrid Haström made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Duda Velloso sent off a good shot on target. Tommy Sundberg's late challenge caught a Premier FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Sundberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 86 played minutes Pihl United got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Sundberg. After a rather tough play, Pihl United's Tommy Sundberg got a free kick in the 89th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
