With a little luck, Cylon's 龙枫博 got control of the ball when Tommy Sundberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute, Sergio-Roberto Ramos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tommy Sundberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 龙枫博 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Enrique Ferreira took a quick shot and it went in 6-1 without a chance for 龙枫博 to make any attempt to save it. In the 45th minute, Tommy Sundberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 龙枫博 was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-1 at half-time.

Cylon were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Pihl United's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 庄志政 took the corner. In the 86th minute Daniel Waselewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龙枫博 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Daniel Waselewicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pihl United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-1. Pihl United's Daniel Waselewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Pihl United's Tommy Sundberg fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pihl United fully deserved thier win.
