UD ZAS's Rey Cerezuela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Loureiro in the 7th minute of play. When Laércio Loureiro came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Inter de São Paulo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laércio Loureiro couldn't finish the play. Rey Cerezuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laércio Loureiro in the 12th minute of the match. Rey Cerezuela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laércio Loureiro in the 15th minute. Laércio Loureiros short, quick shot in the 16thth minute got Rey Cerezuela to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Laércio Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Laércio Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Rey Cerezuela made a huge save. Rey Cerezuela came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de São Paulo's Pedro Donatello. But to his dismay, Pedro Donatello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Laércio Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Rey Cerezuela made a huge save. Laércio Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 33 minutes into the match, UD ZAS's goal looked a bit too open when Predrag Djordjević came free, but Rey Cerezuela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laércio Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Rey Cerezuela made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laércio Loureiro got free with Rey Cerezuela in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laércio Loureiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Rey Cerezuela when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 46 in the game by Laércio Loureiro from a close distance when the talented Rey Cerezuela managed to make a qualified save. UD ZAS's players were relieved.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Checa Lloreda to strike the kick off in the second half. Rey Cerezuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Loureiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After some careless play in the UD ZAS defense, Laércio Loureiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rey Cerezuela. The UD ZAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rey Cerezuela should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute Pedro Donatello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rey Cerezuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jimmy Cimas's late challenge caught a Inter de São Paulo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmy Cimas helped the player get up and apologised. 62 minutes into the game, Inter de São Paulo's Laércio Loureiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rey Cerezuela made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 69th minute, Pedro Donatello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 minutes, Xinaro Ebro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD ZAS and the Inter de São Paulo players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to UD ZAS getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Xinaro Ebro hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Laércio Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rey Cerezuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rey Cerezuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Donatello in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Torres Ororbia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Laércio Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laércio Loureiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rey Cerezuela having to make a save. Rey Cerezuela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laércio Loureiro went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Rey Cerezuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Loureiro in the 83rd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Laércio Loureiro put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rey Cerezuela. In the 89th minute, Gerson Coelho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Donatello in the 91st minute of play forced UD ZAS's goalkeeper Rey Cerezuela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerson Coelho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rey Cerezuela having to make a save.
