Jakes Vila started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, MKS Legion Częstochowa's Zachary Naskrent got a free kick in the 3rd minute. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after MKS Legion Częstochowa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lazcano Mendez took the corner. Julio Alacuart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Paco Dean made a huge save. In the 16th minute ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO were awarded a corner. Lazcano Mendez went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laerte Favoretto got free with Paco Dean in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of MKS Legion Częstochowa:s goal. 21 minutes into the match, MKS Legion Częstochowa's Adhemar Secco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remigio Valerón narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led to MKS Legion Częstochowa's Emanuel Durães getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Paco Dean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of MKS Legion Częstochowa booed when ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakes Vila didn't get a good kick on the ball. When ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Laerte Favoretto in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 36th minute Zachary Naskrent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Valerón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taurino Losantos hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Czeslaw Banan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Valerón having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adhemar Secco to strike the kick off in the second half. If Gustaw Trojanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Czeslaw Banan took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Remigio Valerón to make any attempt to save it. Paco Dean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Favoretto in the 64th minute of play. Paco Dean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After 72 played minutes MKS Legion Częstochowa got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Falk. MKS Legion Częstochowa made a substitution. Pawel Niezywy replaced Kajetan Pietrowiak. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Napoleon Chlebek was substituted for Iwan Falk. A collision led to MKS Legion Częstochowa getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Iwan Falk hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, MKS Legion Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Guido Escobar came free, but Paco Dean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Guido Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Dean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Zachary Naskrent cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Remigio Valerón was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Remigio Valerón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar Secco in the 80th minute of the match. Remigio Valerón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zachary Naskrent in the 83rd minute of play. If Igor Zajac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Taurino Losantos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remigio Valerón came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by MKS Legion Częstochowa's Czeslaw Banan. But to his dismay, Czeslaw Banan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Czeslaw Banan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. MKS Legion Częstochowa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
