Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) MKS Legion Częstochowa's Valter Festas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Avram Panaiteanu in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paco Dean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Avram Panaiteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 12 minutes into the match, MKS Legion Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Timo Thorstein came free, but Paco Dean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Carpathian Wolves's goal looked a bit too open when Czeslaw Banan came free, but Olimpiu Hârlău reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paco Dean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timo Thorstein in the 17th minute of play. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Paco Dean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avram Panaiteanu in the 18th minute of play. Olimpiu Hârlău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Banan in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes, Emanuel Durães mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MKS Legion Częstochowa and the Carpathian Wolves players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Olimpiu Hârlău was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Czeslaw Banan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Czeslaw Banan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, Timo Thorstein had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paco Dean. MKS Legion Częstochowa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timo Thorstein was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timo Thorstein to strike the kick off in the second half. Gustaw Trojanowski charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustaw Trojanowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 52 minutes into the game, one of MKS Legion Częstochowa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
