Spectators: 7620 (Terracing: 5716, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Timo Thorstein took the kick off in the first half of the match. Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Martins in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Fausto Vimaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Hârlău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olimpiu Hârlău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luís Martins in the 11th minute of the match. Mihnea Ionițoiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olimpiu Hârlău showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Futbol Club RRFV's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Ionițoiu came free, but Angelo Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergiu Oloieru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Angelo Velasco made a huge save. Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 洪延广 in the 20th minute of play. Benny Beckenbauer hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Vimaro in the 22nd minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Olimpiu Hârlău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olimpiu Hârlău made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Souza in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fausto Vimaro in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olimpiu Hârlău prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 32nd minute Didi Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Hârlău saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Vimaro scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Olimpiu Hârlău, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Martins in the 41st minute of play. After 44 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Henry Eklund. A collision led to Carpathian Wolves getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Henry Eklund hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Norberto Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Futbol Club RRFV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Norberto Lara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fausto Vimaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Didi Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Olimpiu Hârlău tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău got control of the ball when Fausto Vimaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Timo Thorstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Velasco having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Ionițoiu in the 65th minute of play forced Futbol Club RRFV's goalkeeper Angelo Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carpathian Wolves were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Futbol Club RRFV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Philip Rosendal took the corner. Carpathian Wolves's Philip Rosendal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Angelo Velasco in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Vimaro in the 70th minute of play forced Carpathian Wolves's goalkeeper Olimpiu Hârlău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Vimaro in the 73rd minute of play. Futbol Club RRFV's Angelo Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Ionițoiu in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Carpathian Wolves's Olimpiu Hârlău got control of the ball when 洪延广 tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 83 played minutes Carpathian Wolves got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Ionițoiu. Carpathian Wolves's Moise Pandele was substituted for Henry Eklund. In the 84th minute, Mihnea Ionițoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olimpiu Hârlău had great luck who in the 94thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fausto Vimaro from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 95th minute Futbol Club RRFV were awarded a corner. Norberto Lara went to the cornerflag to take it. The Futbol Club RRFV supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Futbol Club RRFV would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
