C.A Huracan's Arnoldo Karmel came free and shot a quick shot against goal 8 minutes in the game, fortunately Remigio Valerón had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Laerte Favoretto took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmiro Dominic. Delmiro Dominic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Jakes Vila in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO booed when C.A Huracan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Karmel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmiro Dominic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Favoretto in the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd of the match, Nestor Ondino tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Remigio Valerón got in the way and made a wonderful save. After a rather tough play, C.A Huracan's Lê Gante got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute of the match ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO got a corner. C.A Huracan's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Lazcano Mendez ran over to the corner to take the kick. 37 minutes into the match, Timoteo Machado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Remigio Valerón, 2-1. Fausto Elixio kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th match minute, C.A Huracan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Delfino to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakes Vila in the 48th minute of play forced C.A Huracan's goalkeeper Delmiro Dominic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Julio Alacuart made the kick off in the second half. C.A Huracan's Delmiro Dominic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save C.A Huracan from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Laerte Favoretto could shoot a difficult shot in the 57th minute, which Delmiro Dominic however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Karmel in the 59th minute of play forced ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's goalkeeper Remigio Valerón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delmiro Dominic was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Laerte Favoretto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Laerte Favoretto really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Remigio Valerón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. C.A Huracan's Arnoldo Karmel got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO made a substitution. Guido Escobar replaced Jakes Vila. C.A Huracan made a substitution. Dave Basso replaced Timoteo Machado. Remigio Valerón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Dave Basso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-2. Remigio Valerón was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, C.A Huracan's Delmiro Dominic got control of the ball when Rey Northe tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Dave Basso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Remigio Valerón was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. C.A Huracan's Delmiro Dominic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Escobar in the 79th minute of play. Remigio Valerón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dave Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Remigio Valerón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Basso, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Delmiro Dominic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Escobar in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Dave Basso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Valerón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Guido Escobar kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Delmiro Dominic. That made the score 4-3 in the 92 minute of play. Delmiro Dominic stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guido Escobar's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. C.A Huracan were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO for a fine match.
