Mané Quirino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin McNamara, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Wyoming Cowboys's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Cabral came free, but Philip McNamara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané Quirino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee ignored Goiás Esporte Clube's protests and gave Nilmar Secco a yellow card for diving instead. Nilmar Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
