In the 3rd minute René Houseman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kaspar Vilu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, TSC Tartu Seminar's Arno Vabamüürlane got a free kick in the 3rd minute. TSC Tartu Seminar's Kaspar Vilu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu Simões in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the TSC Tartu Seminar defense, Gugu Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaspar Vilu. The TSC Tartu Seminar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaspar Vilu should have stopped the shot. Alo Hurt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Alan do Vale made a huge save. If Ademir de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edvin Keskrand hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. René Houseman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 1-1 became the score in the 30th minute when Alo Hurt elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kaspar Vilu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from René Houseman, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Alo Hurt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan do Vale made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alo Hurt in the 43rd minute. After 45 played minutes Botafogo AP got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Alvarenga.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alo Hurt to strike the kick off in the second half. Alan do Vale came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by TSC Tartu Seminar's Alo Hurt. But to his dismay, Alo Hurt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Alo Hurt came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the TSC Tartu Seminar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alo Hurt couldn't finish the play. Edvin Keskrand struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Alan do Vale didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TSC Tartu Seminar. Thanks to some nice moves René Houseman could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Kaspar Vilu however easily saved by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ademir de Almeida got free with Kaspar Vilu in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Taavet Ööbik in the 70th minute of play forced Botafogo AP's goalkeeper Alan do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes TSC Tartu Seminar got a freekick which was hit by Jaan Levisto. Ademir de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kaspar Vilu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jânio Abreu's late challenge caught a TSC Tartu Seminar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jânio Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. Jânio Abreu hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Botafogo AP's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
