Alan do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Botafogo AP were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after C.A.Tapiales - Münster's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ademir de Almeida took the corner. Botafogo AP's Ademir de Almeida was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jâninho Potiguar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Niko Leibrandt kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alan do Vale. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. C.A.Tapiales - Münster made a substitution. Reinaldo Barreto replaced Helmut Schepers. When Gugu Neves fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botafogo AP's protests and gave Gugu Neves a yellow card for diving instead. Niko Leibrandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Alan do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If René Houseman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Botafogo AP's Alan do Vale got control of the ball when Niko Leibrandt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niko Leibrandt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Alan do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Botafogo AP's Alan do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miklos Gödicke in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to C.A.Tapiales - Münster getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Rudy Siong hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Miklos Gödicke reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alan do Vale. The goal made the score 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell René Houseman to make the kick off. Alan do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niko Leibrandt in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Botafogo AP getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sandro Branco hit a great ball. When Gugu Neves was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. In the 58th minute, Reinaldo Barreto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alan do Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Alan do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niko Leibrandt, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Niko Leibrandt took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alan do Vale. Alan do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Ademir de Almeida's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jâninho Potiguar firmly grabbed it by the left post. C.A.Tapiales - Münster's Reinaldo Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Ademir de Almeida got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Botafogo AP made a substitution. Fritz Ernst Joinvilense replaced René Houseman. Rudy Siong made a great header on C.A.Tapiales - Münster's corner, it was just that Botafogo AP's Alan do Vale managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee ended the match the C.A.Tapiales - Münster players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
