San Pablo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gurbax Gascon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amado Gamus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caricancha's Amado Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gurbax Gascon in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gurbax Gascon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Amado Gamus was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The supporters of San Pablo FC booed when Caricancha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Nesor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute San Pablo FC were awarded a corner. Prospero Moreno went to the cornerflag to take it. Astor Senio came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Andy Hauser could save by the left post. In the 29th minute of the match Caricancha got a corner. San Pablo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Muni Forró ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Muni Forró almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but San Pablo FC's Andy Hauser did a great save. A throw-in in the 34th minute of the game was made by Marcus Red with Juan Jimenez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Amado Gamus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gurbax Gascon in the 35th minute of the match. Juan Jimenez struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Amado Gamus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Pablo FC. Muni Forró sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Muni Forró in the 39th minute of play forced San Pablo FC's goalkeeper Andy Hauser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Astor Senio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Quintin hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Andy Hauser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Muni Forró, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juan Jimenez to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, San Pablo FC's Juan Jimenez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amado Gamus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andy Hauser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zheng Chao Bing, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Caricancha's Amado Gamus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gurbax Gascon in the 63rd minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Jon Hally cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Andy Hauser was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andy Hauser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jon Hally, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Jimenez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amado Gamus. That made the score 1-2 in the 78 minute of play. With a little luck, Caricancha's Amado Gamus got control of the ball when Juan Jimenez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andy Hauser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Senio in the 91st minute of play. Caricancha were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
