With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmacio Gelacio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 27 minutes, Claudio Antonangeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Handsome Wizards UTD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Antonangeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Antonangeli got free with Dalmacio Gelacio in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dalmacio Gelacio was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Claudio Antonangeli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Claudio Antonangeli really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Claudio Antonangeli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmacio Gelacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Viento Norte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Handsome Wizards UTD the free kick. In the 46th minute, Humberto Martxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Viento Norte FC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Gelacio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Handsome Wizards UTD's Kasey Bond suffered a sore thigh after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The Handsome Wizards UTD's Kenney Theys was substituted for Kasey Bond.
