An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaudencio Hartz in the 5th minute of play forced Reaalne Madrid JK's goalkeeper Raul Rähn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Urbano Ortega sped through Reaalne Madrid JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raul Rähn. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Taimo Kaalikas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reaalne Madrid JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Taimo Kaalikas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davide Franco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lukasz Bendyk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davide Franco made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Lukasz Bendyk sent off a good shot on target. Davide Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taimo Kaalikas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Taimo Kaalikas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. With his leg Davide Franco managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Reaalne Madrid JK's Lukasz Bendyk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Reaalne Madrid JK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Marquinhos Diniz hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Ronald Koeman made a precise shot to the right of Raul Rähn. Reaalne Madrid JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Bendyk in the 42nd minute of play forced Locura Académica's goalkeeper Davide Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davide Franco was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Filiberto Restu. Lukasz Bendyk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 48thth minute, Davide Franco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Taimo Kaalikas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukasz Bendyk in the 55th minute of play forced Locura Académica's goalkeeper Davide Franco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davide Franco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lukasz Bendyk's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Taimo Kaalikas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Reaalne Madrid JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taimo Kaalikas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eero Villemsaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
