The Çanakkale players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Granicerul were winning 0-2.

In the 70th minute, Valeriu Zoreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute Jack Ares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdi Kargin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdi Kargin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Ares in the 82nd minute of the match. Ferdi Kargin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dinu Pelin showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 83 minute of play.
