Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Olov Groth was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and İsmail Cem Eroğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. İsmail Cem Eroğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. FC Snipers's Olov Groth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save FC Snipers from getting a goal against them. In the 9th minute of the match Çanakkale got a corner. FC Snipers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ali Haydar Uçkun ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Koray Tibet came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Çanakkale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Koray Tibet couldn't finish the play. In the 12th match minute, FC Snipers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarl Nässén to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th match minute, Çanakkale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sami Nahit to maneuver through the defense. After 16 played minutes, FC Snipers's Douglas Wiman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ferdi Kargin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Ali Haydar Uçkun took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olov Groth. Olov Groth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 37 minutes into the match, İsmail Cem Eroğlu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC Snipers's Olov Groth. Olov Groth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 40 minutes, Johannes Biörnberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Snipers and the Çanakkale players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Snipers getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Johannes Biörnberg hit a great ball. Olov Groth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Koray Tibet, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Osman Ali Ayçetin hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Koray Tibet was the one to do the kick off. After 50 played minutes FC Snipers got a freekick which was hit by Magne Ryberg. In the 51st minute of the match Halil Baytekin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olov Groth skillfully saved the ball. Halil Baytekin kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, İsmail Cem Eroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olov Groth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ant Nevzat in the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to FC Snipers getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Mats Godholm hit a great ball. Çanakkale walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
