Olov Groth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Simion, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When Roland Haglund came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the FC Snipers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Haglund couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute, Inge Gustafsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 27 played minutes FC Snipers got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Biörnberg. Olov Groth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Ares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Johannes Biörnberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Vuia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Granicerul's Dinu Pelin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olov Groth. Olov Groth yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Granicerul eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
