The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nat Rohn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerónimo Leiria, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Fire Devils's Nat Rohn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Fire Devils from getting a goal against them. Cristiano Bento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Nat Rohn made a huge save. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Berto Guine quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martial Schwersenz, made in the 22nd minute of the game. Iosif Vornic got a throw-in 26 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lajos Wenzel. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Zé Guine was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nat Rohn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 30 minutes into the game, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Zé Guine nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nat Rohn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 34 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Lajos Wenzel. Nat Rohn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Cristiano Bento received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nat Rohn came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristiano Bento slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Vivaldo Belém kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nat Rohn. That made the score 3-0 in the 42 minute of play.

Fire Devils's Edmílson Gaúcho was substituted for Martial Schwersenz. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmílson Gaúcho to make the kick off. Nat Rohn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerónimo Leiria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Edmílson Gaúcho scored to the left of an out of position Maurício Estrela, making the score, 3-1. Nat Rohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerónimo Leiria in the 60th minute of the match. With his leg Maurício Estrela managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Fire Devils's Edmílson Gaúcho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Maurício Estrela stood somewhat misplaced when Edmílson Gaúcho came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 63 minute. After some careless play in the VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF defense, Garson Pfäffli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Estrela. The VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Estrela should have stopped the shot. In the 68th match minute, Fire Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Ismael Kalnik got a free kick in the 69th minute. Bertus Guine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fire Devils's Nat Rohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Bento in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Fire Devils's Olof Palm got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Nat Rohn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jerónimo Leiria went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Cristiano Bento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nat Rohn having to interfere. VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Albertus Guine was substituted for Jerónimo Leiria. Nat Rohn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Bento in the 83rd minute of the match. Nat Rohn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertus Guine in the 84th minute of play. The throw-in from Filipe Carvalhal in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fire Devils's Lajos Wenzel. Fire Devils's Nat Rohn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Belém in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF's Filipe Carvalhal got a free kick in the 97th minute. After 98 minutes of play, Fire Devils's Edmílson Gaúcho made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurício Estrela was left in no man's land by his defense there! Despite being the better team, VETERANOS DA GUINÉ - FLF failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
