Jack Ares succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 32nd playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Dinu Pelin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramón Toscano. That made the score 4-0 in the 36 minute of play. When Iordache Ioneasa came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Granicerul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iordache Ioneasa couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goalkeeper Ramón Toscano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valeriu Zoreanu. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Borges to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in MelissaMel's zone, Jack Ares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramón Toscano came out of the goal and Jack Ares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 played minutes MelissaMel got a freekick which was hit by Frank Velasco. Fabinho Arruda hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ramón Toscano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinu Pelin went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. After 64 minutes of play, Granicerul's Valeriu Zoreanu made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramón Toscano was left in no man's land by his defense there! MelissaMel's Ramón Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Ares in the 67th minute of play. After 71 minutes of play, Granicerul's Jack Ares made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramón Toscano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramón Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iordache Ioneasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Jack Ares made a precise shot to the right of Ramón Toscano. MelissaMel's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. After some careless play in the MelissaMel defense, Dinu Pelin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramón Toscano. The MelissaMel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramón Toscano should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Pelin came free, but Ramón Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Ioneasa came free, but Ramón Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
