When Dagoberto Fonseca fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MelissaMel's protests and gave Dagoberto Fonseca a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Snipers booed when MelissaMel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dagoberto Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Dagoberto Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramón Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Godholm in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, MelissaMel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagoberto Albuquerque to maneuver through the defense. Mats Godholm hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. A collision led to MelissaMel getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Diego Borges hit a great ball. Mats Godholm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramón Toscano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After 20 played minutes FC Snipers got a freekick which was hit by Mats Godholm. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Göran Olofsson in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Toscano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes into the game, Dagoberto Albuquerque was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MelissaMel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Snipers the free kick. Dagoberto Albuquerque hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Ramón Toscano came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Snipers's Göran Olofsson. But to his dismay, Göran Olofsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 44th minute Göran Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Snipers were furious when Jörn Giöck was red carded, 47 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Snipers fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The referee gave MelissaMel a penalty, 49 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emerson Chaves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Snipers's Emanuel Brandin. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mats Godholm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Lennart Svensson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ramón Toscano. Lennart Svensson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Godholm in the 58th minute of play forced MelissaMel's goalkeeper Ramón Toscano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mats Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Dagoberto Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. MelissaMel's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Brandin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Mats Godholm got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Mats Godholm came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the FC Snipers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Godholm couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Mats Godholm got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Mats Godholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Snipers's Emanuel Brandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dagoberto Fonseca in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Hedlund during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, FC Snipers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Hedlund to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, MelissaMel's Frank Velasco got a free kick in the 81st minute. Jarl Nässén could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ramón Toscano made a huge save. Mats Godholm hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Fabinho Arruda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Emanuel Brandin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, FC Snipers's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Dante came free, but Emanuel Brandin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Brandin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabinho Arruda in the 92nd minute of play.
