Ermegildo Matxin was a little too slow when Coronel Andres got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's goal looked a bit too open when Coronel Andres came free, but Ermegildo Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ermegildo Matxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Coronel Andres's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Coutinho came free, but Ermegildo Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Coronel Andres scored 2-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Matxin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Ermegildo Matxin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save BAC Belgrano de Cba from getting a goal against them. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Ermegildo Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Coutinho in the 23rd minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, Coronel Andres lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Ermegildo Matxin. Thanks to some nice moves Du Jian Chen could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Ermegildo Matxin however easily saved by the left post. Ermegildo Matxin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Coronel Andres's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Coronel Andres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of BAC Belgrano de Cba booed when La Mora CAT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Suy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şenol Güneş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Neron in the 42nd minute of the match. Ermegildo Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coronel Andres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ermegildo Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coronel Andres in the 45th minute of play. The La Mora CAT fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Coronel Andres was the one to do the kick off. Virgilio Ariando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Şenol Güneş made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Coronel Andres in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Matxin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Garoa Ojesto was slow to take the kick. During this time La Mora CAT's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on La Mora CAT's corner Garoa Ojesto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ermegildo Matxin quite easily take care of the ball. In the 66th minute Du Jian Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Matxin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Coutinho in the 70th minute of play. In the 71stth minute of the game Coronel Andres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BAC Belgrano de Cba's Ermegildo Matxin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match, Lucio Ihintza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Şenol Güneş saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ildefonso Isaio hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th match minute, BAC Belgrano de Cba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Isaio to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Eleuterio Sandaili hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Wayne Rooney sped through BAC Belgrano de Cba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ermegildo Matxin.
