The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mogel Izcaray in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Concetto Garibaldi saved XMAS from getting behind. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mogel Izcaray sped through XMAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Concetto Garibaldi. Ezequiel Maldonado struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Concetto Garibaldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central FC. 12 minutes into the game, Christian Zaccardi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. XMAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rosario Central FC the free kick. Mogel Izcaray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Concetto Garibaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute Mogel Izcaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Concetto Garibaldi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mogel Izcaray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Concetto Garibaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Mogel Izcaray notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of XMAS's Concetto Garibaldi. Concetto Garibaldi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mogel Izcaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd match minute, XMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio De Nardis to maneuver through the defense. XMAS's Concetto Garibaldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mogel Izcaray in the 37th minute of play. Mogel Izcaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mogel Izcaray in the 39th minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Concetto Garibaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Rosario Central FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Zaccardi came free, but Juan Musso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mogel Izcaray struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Concetto Garibaldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosario Central FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gervasio Bieito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rosario Central FC's Estevão Bessa was substituted for Ezequiel Maldonado. If Mogel Izcaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute of the match Rosario Central FC got a corner. XMAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mogel Izcaray ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alessandro Vettori kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Mogel Izcaray recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mogel Izcaray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Concetto Garibaldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mogel Izcaray blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Concetto Garibaldi having to make a save. XMAS's Concetto Garibaldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mogel Izcaray in the 76th minute of play. Concetto Garibaldi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mogel Izcaray's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Mogel Izcaray sped through XMAS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Concetto Garibaldi. The supporters of Rosario Central FC booed when XMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Vettori didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Estevão Bessa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Estevão Bessa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vinicio Gartzea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mogel Izcaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Concetto Garibaldi having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rosario Central FC fully deserved thier win.
