Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ove Bergman in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ermegildo Matxin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Virgilio Ariando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Iker Casillas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Bergman came free, but Ermegildo Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Andres Isadore fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BAC Belgrano de Cba's protests and gave Andres Isadore a yellow card for diving instead. 16 minutes into the game, one of BAC Belgrano de Cba:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ove Bergman in the 20th minute of play forced BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Ermegildo Matxin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, BAC Belgrano de Cba's Venancio Santos got a free kick in the 26th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Ove Bergman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermegildo Matxin. BAC Belgrano de Cba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ove Bergman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in BAC Belgrano de Cba's zone, Rab Uba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Matxin came out of the goal and Rab Uba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Villa Gordiani were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after BAC Belgrano de Cba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciro Esposito took the corner. Villa Gordiani's Otang Irawan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ermegildo Matxin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Villa Gordiani's Lia Marquez was substituted for Arrigo Marrone. In the 55th minute Fabrizio Canzano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Matxin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Bergman in the 58th minute of the match. When BAC Belgrano de Cba's Virgilio Ariando in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Ermegildo Matxin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Bergman in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalkeeper Ermegildo Matxin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lia Marquez. Virgilio Ariando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Eleuterio Sandaili was substituted for Ladislao Inko. Ermegildo Matxin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Bergman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iker Casillas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Neron in the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Boleslaw Przebendowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 83 minutes into the match, BAC Belgrano de Cba's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Bergman came free, but Ermegildo Matxin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When BAC Belgrano de Cba's Virgilio Ariando in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
