Concetto Garibaldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Ariando in the 5th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Placido Neron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Concetto Garibaldi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 11th minute, Alessio Ascoli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 played minutes BAC Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Jaroszewicz. After a defensive mix-up in BAC Belgrano de Cba's zone, Ferruccio Cesaroni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermegildo Matxin came out of the goal and Ferruccio Cesaroni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When XMAS's Ennio De Nardis in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BAC Belgrano de Cba's goalie prevented a goal. Concetto Garibaldi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Ariando's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. It was a well-played corner which Ladislao Inko managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 37th minute Ennio De Nardis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Matxin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ermegildo Matxin made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ennio De Nardis sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rdth minute of the game Virgilio Ariando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XMAS's Concetto Garibaldi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half BAC Belgrano de Cba were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Ennio De Nardis sped through BAC Belgrano de Cba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ermegildo Matxin. The audience was convinced that Ennio De Nardis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ermegildo Matxin was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Concetto Garibaldi was a little too slow when Virgilio Ariando got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 2-3. Concetto Garibaldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Ariando, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of BAC Belgrano de Cba booed when XMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Pallotta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Virgilio Ariando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venancio Santos struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Concetto Garibaldi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BAC Belgrano de Cba. BAC Belgrano de Cba's Eleuterio Sandaili was substituted for Ladislao Inko. Placido Neron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of BAC Belgrano de Cba booed when XMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Zaccardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Concetto Garibaldi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Ariando in the 94th minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Concetto Garibaldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded BAC Belgrano de Cba left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than XMAS.
