The supporters of Templários MZC booed when Sporting Clube Patrício was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Onofre didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Paulo Assis in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Templários MZC's Felipe Meira. Ademar Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roger Guedes in the 44th minute of play. Mauro Alcântara hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Sporting Clube Patrício's Alişan Bağışhan was substituted for Zeferino Cardoso. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Binne Koppermann to make the kick off. Sporting Clube Patrício's supporters crossed their fingers, but Binne Koppermann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sporting Clube Patrício made a substitution. Gabriel Meira replaced Mauro Alcântara. Tomás Portugal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laze Gjoka having to make a save. A collision led to Templários MZC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Tarcisio Rosado hit a great ball. Tomás Portugal might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Laze Gjoka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
