In the 12th minute, one of FORTALEZA:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FORTALEZA. FORTALEZA:s Xorxe Viguera showed great skill when he stopped Doğuş Sidar:s penalty. 13 minutes into the match, Doğuş Sidar notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FORTALEZA's Xorxe Viguera. Xorxe Viguera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Adrian Salvidor got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Xorxe Viguera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Baran Oruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doğuş Sidar kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Ibrahim Kutluay got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes, Kandemir Özdilek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR and the FORTALEZA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kandemir Özdilek kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the game, Pascal Nouma recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sancar Aktemur. Pascal Nouma showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After a rather tough play, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Kandemir Özdilek got a free kick in the 30th minute. Hamdullah Özerdal's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Sancar Aktemur skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR defense, Hamdullah Özerdal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sancar Aktemur. The GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sancar Aktemur should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex De Souza in the 42nd minute of play forced FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Xorxe Viguera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kandemir Özdilek got his second yellow card in the match during the 61st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Kandemir Özdilek got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Sancar Aktemur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamdullah Özerdal in the 63rd minute of play. FORTALEZA made a substitution. Kastus Livanovich replaced Adrian Salvidor. Xorxe Viguera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tacettin Revha in the 74th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex De Souza during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Alex De Souza hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute Hamdullah Özerdal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sancar Aktemur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Doğuş Sidar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pilip Panfilov in the 78 minute of the game. Adam Adamski charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adam Adamski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adam Adamski kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Tacettin Revha hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the FORTALEZA players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
