The corner led FORTALEZA's Pilip Panfilov to fire away a dangerous shot which Edgar Trigo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Edgar Trigo was a little too slow when Pilip Panfilov got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-1. The audience was convinced that Agustín Tastzian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xorxe Viguera was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Nariman Mansourian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When FORTALEZA's Hamdullah Özerdal in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Agustín Tastzian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hamdullah Özerdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Trigo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genílson Leite got free with Xorxe Viguera in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Xorxe Viguera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nariman Mansourian, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. FORTALEZA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Fellipe Lago scored to the left of an out of position Xorxe Viguera, making the score, 1-3. The FORTALEZA supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barrenta SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Barrenta SC.
