After recieving a nice pass, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Narciso Mendes tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 23rd match minute, FORTALEZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszko Tusk to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute of the match, Jhonny Rabelo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Xorxe Viguera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 28 minutes into the match, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hamdullah Özerdal came free, but Tang Quan Yan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xorxe Viguera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pascal Nouma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Tang Quan Yan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FORTALEZA's Xorxe Viguera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save FORTALEZA from getting a goal against them. The referee felt a red card was in order, 38 minutes into the game, when Viktor Lapeiko put in a rough tackle. After 38 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FORTALEZA! Xorxe Viguera had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Narciso Mendes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Silvinho Quintal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Xorxe Viguera when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Silvinho Quintal in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
