Simon Hilhorst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Trigo having to interfere. César Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustín Tastzian in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th minute, Agustín Tastzian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 10 minutes Barrenta SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luuk Theunissen who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ryan Bergmeester got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edgar Trigo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Decathlon Dudes's Luuk Theunissen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edgar Trigo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Barrenta SC from getting a goal against them. In the 16th minute Agustín Tastzian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barrenta SC's zone, Wilco Keldermans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Trigo came out of the goal and Wilco Keldermans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. César Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fellipe Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. César Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Tastzian went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Edgar Trigo made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Juan Ayuso sent off a good shot on target. If Fellipe Lago had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Barrenta SC from getting a goal against them. Decathlon Dudes's César Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Tastzian in the 36th minute of play. Edgar Trigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilco Keldermans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 47 played minutes Decathlon Dudes got a freekick which was hit by Harmen Hilkes. Agustín Tastzian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without César Sousa having to make a save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Agustín Tastzian to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Barrenta SC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Valdemar Cabral hit a great ball. Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilco Keldermans in the 64th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Juan Ayuso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Trigo was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the match, Decathlon Dudes's goalkeeper César Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Tastzian. Decathlon Dudes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luuk Theunissen in the 83rd minute. The corner ended in Wilco Keldermans almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Barrenta SC's Edgar Trigo did a great save.
