Vágner Lago had several of the FORTALEZA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Xorxe Viguera as he didn't even see the shot coming. 麦沙誉 hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Xorxe Viguera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FORTALEZA's 麦沙誉 quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aarne Mikkola, made in the 19th minute of the game. FORTALEZA's Xorxe Viguera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobiasz Rostow in the 36th minute of play. Tobiasz Rostow in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Xorxe Viguera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Stoyo Kamenarski got free with Nicolae Ceaușescu in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Master Champion BMX Flat's Tobiasz Rostow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xorxe Viguera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 75th match minute, FORTALEZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Salvidor to maneuver through the defense. FORTALEZA made a substitution. Zbyszko Tusk replaced Adrian Salvidor. FORTALEZA's Genady Lagutov was substituted for Dmitry Yakubovsky. After 76 played minutes FORTALEZA got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Salvidor. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vágner Lago in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xorxe Viguera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of FORTALEZA booed when Master Champion BMX Flat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Paulo Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. FORTALEZA's Egor Zabarenko shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 85th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Nicolae Ceaușescu but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Lago in the 87th minute of play forced FORTALEZA's goalkeeper Xorxe Viguera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Perivaldo Aparecido in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FORTALEZA's Pilip Panfilov. Vágner Lago scored 5-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xorxe Viguera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tobiasz Rostow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Master Champion BMX Flat had won after a very even match.
