Geir Alstad's late challenge caught a KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geir Alstad helped the player get up and apologised. Japy Man:s Luisito Salvino showed great skill when he stopped Stig Rødal:s penalty. After 9 minutes of play, Japy Man's Bartolo Cuarto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eriberto Enol was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 11 played minutes Japy Man got a freekick which was hit by Aake Fløystrup. In the 13th minute Stig Rødal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Salvino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stig Rødal in the 14th minute. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Stig Rødal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luisito Salvino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gianluca Scamacca hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Gianluca Scamacca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Hugon Kornasiewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Salvino having to interfere. Cleto Iraido kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gianluca Scamacca in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Salvino saved Japy Man from getting behind. 29 minutes into the match, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Horvath came free, but Eriberto Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Tarka. After 33 played minutes, Japy Man's Cleto Iraido shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eriberto Enol came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Japy Man reached it. Luisito Salvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Scamacca in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35thth minute of the game Gianluca Scamacca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Japy Man's Luisito Salvino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gianluca Scamacca had several of the Japy Man's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-1 score and a disappointed Luisito Salvino as he didn't even see the shot coming. Luisito Salvino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Scamacca, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Kornasiewicz in the 46th minute of play forced Japy Man's goalkeeper Luisito Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Salvino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gianluca Scamacca's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gianluca Scamacca was the one to do the kick off. Aake Fløystrup kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Japy Man's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Rødal came free, but Luisito Salvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Japy Man's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stig Rødal took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Scamacca in the 58th minute of play forced Japy Man's goalkeeper Luisito Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugon Kornasiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Horvath in the 62nd minute of play forced KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Eriberto Enol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gianluca Scamacca struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Luisito Salvino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A. In the 67thth minute of the game Gianluca Scamacca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Japy Man's Luisito Salvino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Japy Man's Luisito Salvino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluca Scamacca in the 68th minute of play. Luisito Salvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugon Kornasiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisito Salvino came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Hugon Kornasiewicz. But to his dismay, Hugon Kornasiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gianluca Scamacca in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luisito Salvino saved Japy Man from getting behind. In the 74th minute Juan Horvath shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Enol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Japy Man's zone, Stig Rødal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Salvino came out of the goal and Stig Rødal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Juan Horvath came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Japy Man fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Horvath couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianluca Scamacca in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Salvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Gianluca Scamacca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisito Salvino was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. The supporters of KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A booed when Japy Man was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Marcones didn't get a good kick on the ball.
