Sam Yang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 30 minutes, Uno Åberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Samba Fotboll U21 and the KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Samba Fotboll U21's Uno Åberg got a free kick in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the game, KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's Elías Olsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sam Yang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianluca Scamacca in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sam Yang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gianluca Scamacca in the 41st minute of play forced Samba Fotboll U21's goalkeeper Sam Yang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Elías Olsson hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gösta Sjö in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaw Fafinski saved KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gianluca Scamacca to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Samba Fotboll U21 got a freekick which was hit by Uno Åberg. Gianluca Scamacca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sam Yang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Sjö in the 55th minute of play forced KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's goalkeeper Gustaw Fafinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gianluca Scamacca got free with Sam Yang in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Gianluca Scamacca dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sam Yang, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Gianluca Scamacca managed to get in a good position for a shot. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Gianluca Scamacca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sam Yang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sam Yang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Rødal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Samba Fotboll U21's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Rødal came free, but Sam Yang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KS Lechia Gdańsk S.A played a much better game than Samba Fotboll U21 and deserved their victory. The Samba Fotboll U21 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
