The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisito Salvino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Cain Velasquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisito Salvino. Japy Man's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cain Velasquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 20th minute Isidro Faro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Vase saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Japy Man's goal looked a bit too open when Cain Velasquez came free, but Luisito Salvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Salvino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cain Velasquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Bartolo Cuarto in the 25th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bennis's Fermin Gregory. In the 26th minute, Cain Velasquez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bennis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 31st minute of the game Bartolo Cuarto made a throw-in which Isidro Faro played forward. Cain Velasquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Salvino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cain Velasquez ran back to his position shaking his head. After 38 played minutes Japy Man got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Cuarto. After a rather tough play, Japy Man's Bartolo Cuarto got a free kick in the 45th minute. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Japy Man's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harry Wallgren was slow to take the kick. During this time Bennis's players had a chance to rest. Bennis's Harry Wallgren was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luisito Salvino in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half Bennis were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidro Faro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luisito Salvino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cain Velasquez in the 54th minute of the match. Isidro Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Bennis's Jonas Mercurio got a free kick in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cain Velasquez in the 61st minute of play forced Japy Man's goalkeeper Luisito Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Bartolo Cuarto in the 64th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Bennis's Freddy Saron. Isidro Faro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdurrahman Aslan in the 66th minute of play forced Japy Man's goalkeeper Luisito Salvino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Japy Man's Luisito Salvino got control of the ball when Cain Velasquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bennis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Japy Man the free kick. In the 83rd match minute, Bennis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Lundkvist to maneuver through the defense. Freddy Saron hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When Eskil Kvick came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Bennis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eskil Kvick couldn't finish the play. Japy Man's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Cain Velasquez scored to the left of an out of position Luisito Salvino, making the score, 0-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bennis walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
