Alvaro Sanna came out of the goal and Brookes Crane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sporting Club Sicilia made a substitution. Sporting Club Sicilia's Alvaro Sanna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Club Sicilia from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Sporting Club Sicilia lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
