Spectators: 7463 (Terracing: 5598, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Robin Bäckström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Escobar in the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Luis Escobar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robin Bäckström. The Northmen Army's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luis Escobar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute, Richie Ason left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ALIANZA 1901 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 16 played minutes ALIANZA 1901 got a freekick which was hit by Zarbonin Riesco. The Northmen Army's Robin Bäckström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Escobar in the 20th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as The Northmen Army's Hu Zhen Di slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruy Berger. That made the score 1-2 after 21 minutes of play. In the 28th minute, Hjalmar Håkansson made a precise shot to the right of Ruy Berger. ALIANZA 1901's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. In the 32nd minute of the match, Christian Olofsson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ruy Berger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute, Hjalmar Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41stth minute of the game Luis Escobar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Northmen Army's Robin Bäckström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robin Bäckström came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by ALIANZA 1901's Zarbonin Riesco. But to his dismay, Zarbonin Riesco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. After 47 played minutes Kiko Zimbo rounded ALIANZA 1901's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-3. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Olofsson was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Albertino Severiano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Northmen Army and the ALIANZA 1901 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hjalmar Håkansson hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute of the match ALIANZA 1901 got a corner. The Northmen Army's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pancho Tabernilla ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobald Polakowski in the 65th minute of play forced ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Ruy Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Tomasini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Richie Ason notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of The Northmen Army's Robin Bäckström. Robin Bäckström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in The Northmen Army's zone, Alfredo Tomasini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Bäckström came out of the goal and Alfredo Tomasini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute Hu Zhen Di shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruy Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richie Ason recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Northmen Army's Robin Bäckström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save The Northmen Army from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute, Igor Bozakov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pancho Tabernilla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robin Bäckström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Richie Ason's late challenge caught a The Northmen Army's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richie Ason helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, ALIANZA 1901 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Ason to maneuver through the defense. Ruy Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kiko Zimbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The ALIANZA 1901 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ALIANZA 1901 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
