A collision led to ALIANZA 1901 getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Brais Lahoz hit a great ball. ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hu Zhen Di in the 25th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Hjalmar Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Tomasini received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Robin Bäckström came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfredo Tomasini slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 30th minute. Ruy Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hjalmar Håkansson in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Olofsson in the 35th minute of play forced ALIANZA 1901's goalkeeper Ruy Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Bäckström having to interfere. Ruy Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Håkansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Tomasini to make the kick off. Robin Bäckström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Robin Bäckström came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by ALIANZA 1901's Nicasio Rivadeneira. But to his dismay, Nicasio Rivadeneira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 80th minute, Hjalmar Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robin Bäckström came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by ALIANZA 1901's Luis Escobar. But to his dismay, Luis Escobar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 84th match minute, ALIANZA 1901 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Escobar to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of ALIANZA 1901 booed when The Northmen Army was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fortunato Stefano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robin Bäckström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richie Ason in the 90th minute of play. Robin Bäckström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richie Ason, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in The Northmen Army's zone, Luis Escobar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Bäckström came out of the goal and Luis Escobar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ALIANZA 1901's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
