The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Lutomia SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Koralp Özsu came free, but Beloslav Drandiyski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lutomia SSA's goalkeeper Beloslav Drandiyski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beloslav Drandiyski was a little too slow when Gürbüz Hendekli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 6th minute. The score was now 1-0. The audience was convinced that Candelario Saavedra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beloslav Drandiyski was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. The supporters of Lutomia SSA booed when Los Tatangelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Zaremba didn't get a good kick on the ball.
