Haithabu FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramzi Drouart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Haithabu FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Tatangelos were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jacinto Torres was the one to do the kick off. Mauri Icardi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vacib Bartu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Tatangelos's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Poets was slow to take the kick. During this time Haithabu FC's players had a chance to rest.
