When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Mustafa Haydar Salik put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Isaias Bastia. 8 minutes into the match, Bucaneiros's Toninho de Amorim sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaias Bastia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Bucaneiros's Luiz Guilherme Paraense got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Toninho de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Guilherme Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Filiberto Gartzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Bartosz Skikiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Metán's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luizão Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Luizão Toledo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isaias Bastia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 28th minute, Blas Dorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mustafa Haydar Salik scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaias Bastia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Isaias Bastia successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Bucaneiros booed when Metán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Salvatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaias Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes Metán got a freekick which was hit by Blas Dorio. Gilberto Mundo's late challenge caught a Bucaneiros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Mundo helped the player get up and apologised. Bucaneiros's Mustafa Haydar Salik got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 played minutes Bucaneiros got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Guilherme Paraense. Metán's Isaias Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Haydar Salik in the 43rd minute of play. Isaias Bastia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mustafa Haydar Salik went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Haydar Salik to make the kick off. Metán's Isaias Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Haydar Salik in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 minutes of play Metán's Gilberto Mundo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Haydar Salik in the 54th minute of play forced Metán's goalkeeper Isaias Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Guilherme Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bucaneiros's Cristian Félix was substituted for Luizão Toledo. 62 minutes into the match, Metán's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafa Haydar Salik came free, but Isaias Bastia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filiberto Gartzi got free with Bartosz Skikiewicz in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute Mustafa Haydar Salik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaias Bastia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bucaneiros's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 吕星文 in the 76th minute. The corner led Bucaneiros's Mustafa Haydar Salik to fire away a dangerous shot which Isaias Bastia despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bucaneiros's Bartosz Skikiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Bucaneiros from getting a goal against them. Mustafa Haydar Salik might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isaias Bastia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mustafa Haydar Salik ran back to his position shaking his head.
