After 15 played minutes Haithabu FC got a freekick which was hit by Simon Blomquist. 18 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Guilherme Paraense came free, but Fabian Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bucaneiros's players were relieved. 26 minutes into the match, Haithabu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Toninho de Amorim came free, but Fabian Söderström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Borges hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Haithabu FC's Ramzi Drouart dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mustafa Haydar Salik to strike the kick off in the second half. Fabian Söderström was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Luiz Guilherme Paraense capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luiz Guilherme Paraense really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. In the 56th minute, Haithabu FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mustafa Haydar Salik fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bartosz Skikiewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Haithabu FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bucaneiros for a fine match.
