The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 13 minutes into the match, Rondeau's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Lorien came free, but Genaro Sidro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Lorien in the 18th minute of play forced Rondeau's goalkeeper Genaro Sidro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rondeau's Genaro Sidro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Lorien in the 19th minute of play. Inocencio Lorien took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Genaro Sidro. Genaro Sidro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Genaro Sidro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Inocencio Lorien's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Rondeau were furious when Jesus Bikendi was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rondeau fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 25th minute. Penalty! Marcu Pantelimon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Inocencio Lorien came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the NovaStella FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Inocencio Lorien couldn't finish the play. In the 33rdth minute of the game Inocencio Lorien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rondeau's Genaro Sidro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Rondeau's Ramon Kemen made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viktor Häll was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcu Pantelimon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Genaro Sidro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristoffer Ek struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Genaro Sidro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NovaStella FK. Genaro Sidro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Inocencio Lorien went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ramon Kemen to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sivert Borre got free with Genaro Sidro in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rondeau's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Inocencio Lorien was slow to take the kick. During this time NovaStella FK's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on NovaStella FK's corner Inocencio Lorien fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Genaro Sidro quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Rickard Billberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Sidro was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. NovaStella FK made a substitution. Roman Lluciano replaced Kristoffer Ek. Inocencio Lorien could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Genaro Sidro made a huge save. After 91 minutes, Inocencio Lorien made it 1-8 with a short kick to the right side. Rondeau's Genaro Sidro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The Rondeau fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. NovaStella FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
