With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fergus Fairbairn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Filip Jandryca came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the KoLiber fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Jandryca couldn't finish the play. Fergus Fairbairn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Jandryca, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Ibrahim Nezirović who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The KoLiber fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when KoLiber's Ibrahim Nezirović looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Herbert Jazwiec was slow to take the kick. During this time KoLiber's players had a chance to rest. In the 33rd minute Ibrahim Nezirović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fergus Fairbairn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Miromir Rydzewski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Jandryca in the 36th minute of play.
