After 18 minutes, Victor Huștiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- and the Palermo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19thth minute of the game Santiago Mino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Thomás Linares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Gigi Brânzaș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palermo's Alfredo Joey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 24th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Huștiu to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santiago Mino in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomás Linares saved ASF BAIA MARE -MM- from getting behind. With 29 minutes on the clock, Saul Felo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 91st minute Gigi Brânzaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Medina to maneuver through the defense. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Palermo's performance. The match ended with a win for Palermo.
