A collision led to Palermo getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Anthony Bonelli hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Santiago Mino notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Thomás Linares. Thomás Linares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anthony Bonelli got free with Thomás Linares in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, Dorin Caloian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Thomás Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anthony Bonelli in the 32nd minute of play. Thomás Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Gonzalez in the 33rd minute of the match. Alfredo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Gheorghiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute Sandu Gheorghiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The wind increased when Santiago Mino made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Gheorghiu in the 50th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomás Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute, Palermo's Arkadiusz Glowacki seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arkadiusz Glowacki the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Palermo protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arkadiusz Glowacki had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Palermo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ASF BAIA MARE -MM-:s goal. Arnoldo Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Linares having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Bonelli in the 58th minute of play forced ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goalkeeper Thomás Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomás Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Bonelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Palermo's Alfredo Joey got control of the ball when Remus Vermeşan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sandu Gheorghiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximino Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palermo made a substitution.
