The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fergus Fairbairn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Enaut in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eleuterio Guerau in the 4th minute of play forced Rangers FC's goalkeeper Fergus Fairbairn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rangers FC's Raymond Johnston got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Danilo Arlo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Rangers FC booed when Rondeau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Arlo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Rondeau's Basilio Modestio got a free kick in the 17th minute. Prospero Enaut might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fergus Fairbairn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Prospero Enaut ran back to his position shaking his head. Basilio Modestio scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fergus Fairbairn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fergus Fairbairn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Modestio, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Prospero Enaut had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fergus Fairbairn. Rangers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prospero Enaut was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Prospero Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fergus Fairbairn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Policarpio in the 33rd minute of the match. Fergus Fairbairn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Modestio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, Rondeau's Basilio Modestio made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fergus Fairbairn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fergus Fairbairn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basilio Modestio went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Eleuterio Guerau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Prospero Enaut made the kick off in the second half. After 50 minutes, Humberto Policarpio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rondeau and the Rangers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Genaro Sidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Johnston in the 52nd minute of the match. Fergus Fairbairn made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Eleuterio Guerau sent off a good shot on target. Fergus Fairbairn came out of the goal and Prospero Enaut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rondeau's Teodosio Primeiro was substituted for Basilio Modestio. Genaro Sidro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Johnston, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes in the game Bradley Carr did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Keith McNiter. With splendid footwork Prospero Enaut arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-6 by the left pole in the game's 73rd minute. Teodosio Primeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Fergus Fairbairn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Rangers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Enaut came free, but Fergus Fairbairn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rondeau's Danilo Arlo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Bradley Carr, made in the 87th minute of the game. Fergus Fairbairn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eleuterio Guerau went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Humberto Policarpio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Fergus Fairbairn made a huge save. When the match was over Rondeau could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rangers FC throughout the match.
