With a little luck, Los Gallos's Anacleto Horado got control of the ball when Jeronimo Birila tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeronimo Birila in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anacleto Horado saved Los Gallos from getting behind. In the 35thth minute of the game Jeronimo Birila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Gallos's Anacleto Horado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Los Gallos's Anacleto Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Txomin in the 37th minute of play. Anacleto Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los Gallos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Ruperto Txomin scored to the left of an out of position Anacleto Horado, making the score, 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Txomin got free with Anacleto Horado in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
